Product Care & Maintenance Every well.-made bathroom product is designed to with stand the harsh conditions of the average bathroom, over time, unless they are properly cared for, they will start to look a little worn and weathered We recommend some tips that you can follow to keep your vanity in pristine condition and looking as new for longer. Toughened GlassHard water and soapy buildup allowed to accumulate on glass shower surfaces can cause etching and permanently damage the glass. If glass shower doors have a cloudy look, this may be the culprit. Cleaning will eliminate buildup, but it will not reverse etching, which is why the first andbest defence is to prevent it from happening by wiping down the shower after each use with eithera squeegee or a microfber cloth, We recommend the following cleaning procedure - depending upon the quality of the water, the cleaning frequency may vary. MirrorsKeep your bathroom well ventilated during showers, etc, to avoid condensation that can run and pool at the edge of your mirror. Never use ammonia-based cleaning products such as glass cleaner, These may erode the mirror's sliver backing. Never spray cleaners directly onto a mirror. Spray onto a soft micro fibre cloth and then wipe the mirror. Regularly oil the edges (i.e. polished or bevelled edges) of your mirrors with a small amount of clean, clear oil (such as baby oil). This will act as a seal to protect your mirror against black-spotting. Normal Cleaning (after each use)Wipe the Showering Area with a soft cloth and the glass with a soft cloth or window “squeegee” Main CleaningMix one part white vinegar with three parts distilled water put the mixture into a spray bottle so you can store the solution easily, $pray the water and vinegar onto the glass and let it sit on the glass for up to five minutes, then rinse off with warm clean water and wipe down with a soft cloth or “squeegee". Intensive Cleaning (whenever stains are not removed by previous methods)Remove stubborn lime scale with a proprietary cleaner, but DO NOT USE ANY OF THECLEANERS BELOW.Lime scale removers - these are acidic and will damage the aluminium frame.Any cleaner with a PH level outside the range of 4-8.Abrasive cleaners.Cleaners containing solvents.Spray and leave’ cleaners.Stainless Steel/ Brass HardwareStainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance, luster, strength and durability. However, itis not stain or rust proof, Regular maintenance is required to keep stainless steel clean and free of contaminants.Clean stainless frequently with soap and water Any cleaner safe for glass is usually safe for stainless; apply with a cotton cloth. Chrome, anodised, polished or powder-coated metal surfacesStainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance, luster, strength and durability. However, itis not stain or rust proof, Regular maintenance is required to keep stainlesssteel clean and freeof contaminants.Clean stainless frequently with soap and water.Any cleaner safe for glass is usually safe forstainless; apply with a cotton cloth. PVC Water SealsMildew on PVC seals is best removed using a proprietary 'Mould and Mildew Remover' but you should check before use that it will not damage the seals or aluminium frame or the screensConsult the cleaning products label if you are unsure and make sure that any cleaner is washedoff with clean water and the surface wiped dry.
